CLASS OF 1963 40th Anniversary Reunion
The Class of 1963 held its 40th anniversary reunion August 1st and 2nd, 2003 in Geneva. We had about 40 plus classmates
make an appearance. With spouses, more than 60 people gathered.
The mixer Friday night August 1st at the Old Firehouse Winery in Geneva On The Lake was a lot of fun. There were
three other high schools having their mixer night there, including Ashtabula High's Class of 1963.
Saturday morning, several of us met for breakfast and then went to the Austinburg Skating Rink. Talk about a surprise!
The old rink has been completely restored to new condition. The inside is just like it used to be ... and the hot dogs
are just as good! Other classmates went golfing. Some, I'm sure, slept in!
The dinner Saturday night at the Lighthouse Inn (formerly Anton's Restaurant) at the I-90 and 534 exit in Geneva
gave us an opportunity to get to know old friends again. Good food, good memories, interesting people. Who
could ask for anything more?
The Reunion Book was very well received. It is 85 pages (b&w and color) of old pictures, stories and memories
contributed by several classmates, pictures of the past reunions and updated mailing addresses for our class. Those
who came to the reunion received a free copy.
