Dear
Alumnus,
My
name is Greg Staida and I am a 1965 graduate of GHS.
I am honored to be the chairperson for this year’s reunion of the Geneva
Alumnae Letterman’s Association. We “old-timers” get together once each year
and have for the last 58 years to renew old friendships and tell “old lies”.
The
Lettermans was formed 58 years ago when 14 classmates
got together to play golf and have dinner. The concept was to be informal,
casual, enjoy the camaraderie and be low budget. We are the recipients of their
concept and for those who are eligible there is no membership fee, no dues and
no expenses except those incurred by each individual member on their own
cognizance. The only catch to this is that to be eligible you had to have
earned a varsity letter from one of the organized and sanctioned teams and you
have to be out of school for 25 years. That is why I say “old -timers”, because
there are no real young members.
Our
whole agenda consists of a scramble golf outing in
If
you are eligible (did you earn a varsity letter?), have been out of school for
a minimum of 25 years and want to be included please respond to me or to Gary “Korky” Korver at the following
addresses. If you are not eligible or if you are not interested at this time please
respond and let us know of your status. We will retain the relevant information
and we will respect your chosen preferences. Please include your e-mail to save
us postage and to make our work and your correspondence easier. If you do not
