DORSET -- Kitt
E. Taylor-Gaul, age 66, of Hayes
Road, Dorset, Ohio,
died Thursday morning, February 16, 2006, at U.H.H.S. Memorial
Hospital of Geneva following a long battle with
pancreatic cancer.
She was born on January 16, 1940, in Geneva,
Ohio, the daughter of Evelyn
(Isaacson) and Arthur M. Taylor. She was a life long
resident of Geneva and a 1957 graduate of Geneva High
School. She was a member
of the National Honor Society and a majorette with the Geneva High School
Marching Band.
She retired after serving as Deputy Clerk of Western Court in Geneva for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley (Butch) Gaul; and daughters, Pamela Jean (Hocevar) and Michael
Crawford of St. Augustine, Florida, and Julie Hocevar
and Anneli Bennett of Summerfield, North Carolina; granddaughter, Julie Marie (Jon) Williams
of Ashtabula; grandson, James Frank Scott of Ashtabula; brothers, Martin
(Annie) Taylor and John A. (Jack) Taylor, both of West Palm Beach, Florida;
step children, John and Diana Gaul of Jefferson, Daniel and Phyllis Gaul of
Pierpont, Sherry (Gaul) and Ron Lesko of Casper,
Wyoming, James and Cosette Gaul of Dorset, Bobbie
(Gaul) and Ed Seybert of Ashtabula, Greg and Tiffany
Gaul of Anchorage, Alaska; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Williams of
Ashtabula, Matthew Gaul of Dorset, and Ashley Gaul of Anchorage, Alaska; and
nine step grandchildren.
She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She
loved gardening and caring for the birds native to the area. She
cherished her family and the long friendships she maintained, including those
with classmates from Geneva
High School. She was dearly loved and will be
missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at
the Jefferson Home of the FLEMING & BILLMAN
FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., 49 West
Jefferson Street, Jefferson, with the Reverend
Kevin Angel, of the Jefferson
Church of the Nazarene,
officiating.
Calling Hours will be held Monday evening, February 20, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the
Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004,
envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
