Beatrice Garretson

ASHTABULA — Beatrice Garretson, 64, a resident of Lorain County, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at the New Life Hospice in Lorain, OH.

Born October 5, 1939, in Cranberry, PA, she was the daughter of Edgar and Margaret (Bradley) Moss.
Beatrice graduated from Geneva High School and Ashland University. She worked as a schoolteacher for the Lorain City Schools.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Elyria Ward.

Survivors include her husband, George Garretson of Oberlin; sons, Donald (Constance) of Amherst, and Eric of Canal Fulton; daughter, Cindy Garretson of Elyria; four grandchildren; and sisters, Nina Roney of Harpersfield, and Della Fox of Ashtabula.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mona Weaver.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, March 5, 2004, at the GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19th Street in Ashtabula, OH, with burial to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 4, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
