Gail Hoefer was the first student from Geneva High to go abroad as an American Exchange Student. She spent the summer of 1961 in Hamburg, Germany. She related to the school her experiences and views of life in Germany. As a gift to the school she presented us with the Hummel-Hummel. The experience gained by Gail will be invaluable to both her and others.
