BRIAN SCOTT ROWAN

TRUMBULL TWP.  – Brian Scott Rowan, 36, of Trumbull Township died following an automobile accident on Friday, April 1, 2005.

He was born January 18, 1969 in Ashtabula the son of Nelson and Carolyn (Light) Rowan.

A 1987 graduate of Geneva High School and Ashtabula County Vocational School.  Mr.  Rowan served in the U.S.  Marines during Desert Storm.  He was a corporal and was awarded the Southwest Asia Service Medal w/3 bronze stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon w/2 bronze stars, Overseas Ribbon, Rifle Expert Badge.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Brain is survived by his parents of Trumbull Township, sister; Laura Rowan of Conneaut, Ohio, maternal grandmother; Genevieve Light of Conneaut, nephews Darius Rowan, Benjamin Heinonen and niece Dani Heinonen, many aunts and uncles, and cousins who he loved dearly.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His is preceded by his paternal grandparents Ralph and Emma Rowan and maternal grandfather Carroll Light, one uncle and four cousins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Paine-Guerriero Funeral Home, 3119 West Water Street, Rock Creek, Ohio with Pastor William Aiken of the New Lyme Baptist Church as celebrant.  Friends will be received 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Tuesday and 11:00 a.m.  until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
