LEN FRANK SCIBONA JR.

CLEVELAND -- Frank Scibona Jr., age 48, of Cork-Cold Springs Road, Harpersfield Twp., died Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

He was born on November 7, 1957, in Geneva, the son of Frank and Katherine (Pugliese) Scibona, and has been a lifetime Harpersfield resident.

He was a 1976 graduate of Geneva High School and attended Kent State University, Ashtabula Branch. He was an owner and majority partner of the family dairy farm in Harpersfield Twp. He is a member of Park Street Christian Church.

Mr. Scibona was on the Dairy Service Board for eight years; he was on the Board of Directors for the Western Reserve Co-operative; and a member of the Dairy Lea Co-operative Inc.

He enjoyed watching sports and farming.

Surviving him are his father, of Harpersfield Twp.; his wife Denise (Vandervort) Scibona, whom he married November 6, 1982; a son, Jason, a Sophomore at Muskingum College; two daughters, Jennifer, a senior Education Major at Lake Erie College, and Tina, a Senior at Geneva High School; two brothers, Vince and Gene of Harpersfield; a sister, Amelia (Richard) Janco of Madison; and several nieces.

He is preceded in death by his mother, in 2000.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2005, at Park Street Christian Church, 97 Park St., Geneva, and will be officiated by Rev. Larry Wade of Park Street Christian Church, and Rev. Darrell Vandervort, brother-in-law of Mr. Scibona. Burial will be in Harpersfield Cemetery, in Harpersfield Twp.

Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2005, at the KENNEDY-BILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Park Street Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
