Thomas O. Knapp

AUSTINBURG - Thomas O. Knapp, 53, of River Glen Drive, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at his home.
He was born Oct. 20, 1947, in Ashtabula, the son of Wallace O. and Florence (Howland) Knapp and had been a resident of Austinburg Township most of his life.
He earned the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 14 and was a 1965 graduate of Geneva High School.
Mr. Knapp served in the U.S. Navy Seabees with MCB74. He married Theresa J. (Kelleher) Bullis on Sept. 19, 1993, in Jefferson.
Mr. Knapp was employed at Arrow Glass, Austinburg Township, and was a business partner with Kris Tetrick, with whom he founded KT Investments.
Mr. Knapp enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR races, doing yardwork and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa; a daughter, Barbara K. Kovack of Jefferson; two stepdaughters, Kimberly A. Parks of Jefferson and Cynthia D. Jurcenko of Cincinnati; a grandson, Connor Kenneth Kovach; two step granddaughters, Angela R. Munson of Kent and Kelly A. Woodworth of Jefferson; two sisters, Barbara Knapp of Willoughby and Susan Beaver of Lake-in-the-Hills, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Fleming Funeral Home Inc., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. David Wilcox of the Hudson United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsville Cemetery, Austinburg Township.
Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
