Neale C. Madsen

St. Augustine, Fla. – Neale C. “Kris” Madsen, 55, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Flagler Hospital.

The son of Carl G. and Isabel (Chandler) Madsen, he was born April 6, 1945. He grew up spending summers at Geneva-on-the-Lake, where his father owned Madsen Donuts from 1936 to 1974.

Mr. Madsen was a graduate of Geneva High School and attended the University of Rhode Island. Since 1972, he had made his home in the Virgin Islands and Florida.

He is survived by his wife Carol; a son, Michael; a brother, Dr. Carl G., of Kokomo, Ind.; one stepson, three nephews and two great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Madsen was cremated. Arrangements were handled by Craig Funeral Home.
