GENEVA - Janet C. Temky, age 79, died Friday, February 24, 2006 at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital. She was born May 16, 1926 in Geneva. Janet was a lifelong resident of Geneva and Orwell.

Ms. Temky was a phone operator at Printz Biederman and Richmond Brothers and assisted her nephew Anthony Pawlowski at his Veterinary Clinic in Orwell. She helped on the family farm in Harpersfield. Ms. Temky was 1944 graduate of Geneva High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholics Church in Orwell and former member of Assumption Church. She was the family historian and enjoyed gardening and following her nephews and nieces’ many activities.

She is survived by brother; Henry Tanski of Harpersfield, 2 sisters; Celia (Stanley) Pawlowski of Orwell, and Helen Karmansky of Geneva, nieces and nephews: Char, Wait, Stan (Vey), Anthony (Gay), Paul, Jim (Andrea), Carole (Jeff), Paula (Jeffery), Diane (Dave), Henry (Karen), Dennis, Debbie (Randy), 20 great nephews and nieces, 6 great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard Temky and Catherine Woitkowski and sister Florence Wick.

Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2006 10-11:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva. . A Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Rev. Gregory Fedor and Rev. Melvin Rusnak will be officiating. Burial will be at Mr. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
