Anne P. Ward

GENEVA — Anne P. Ward, 78, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at Rea-Ann Geneva nursing home. She was born Oct. 4, 1924, the daughter of Eugene and Lucy (Corrado) Pasqualone.

Mrs. Ward graduated from Geneva High School in 1942 and attended the Spencerian Business College. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Geneva and the Jim Beam Bottle Club. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards and putting jigsaw puzzles together.

She married Donald Ward on May 15, 1954 in Geneva. She owned and operated the Avalon Tavern with him.

Survivors include her husband, a son, John Ward of Port Richey, Fla.; a daughter, Sandy Dillingham of Port Richey, Fla.; a granddaughter, Megan; a sister, Norma Martin of Bay Village; a brother, Peter Pasqualone of Geneva.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ozzie Pasqualone; and a sister, Doris Kessler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Assumption Church., 594 W. Main St., Geneva with the Rev. Paul Tobin officiating.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva.
