REVA M. BREWER

GENEVA -- Reva M. Brewer, age 88, of Spencer Circle, Geneva, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005, at UHHS Memorial Hospital of Geneva.

Born May 14, 1917, the daughter of the late Clinton P. and Ada M. (Wager) Arkenburg, in Syracuse, New York, and has been an area resident most of her life.

Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker who married Arthur J. Brewer, March 5, 1942 in Geneva, Ohio.

She loved to spend time with her family, was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, was a member of Park St. Christian Church, and was Secretary at Park St. Christian Church for 15 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Diana L. Cameron of Geneva, and Jacqueline "Jackie" (Russell) Doan of Mentor; four grandchildren, Scott, Wendy, Jennifer, and Jeffrey; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Richelle, and Andrew; and two sisters, Betty J. Smith of Geneva, and Lois G. Harnist of Rock Creek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. in 1981; her parents; brothers, Charles P., Howard E., Clinton (Pat) W., William, Dale R., and Richard L.; and sisters, Ellen L. and Ruth Jean Bernardo.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 20, at Park St. Christian Church, 97 Park Street, Geneva, with Reverend Larry Wade, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.

Calling Hours will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 19, at C.A. WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman Street, Geneva, and one hour prior to Services at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Park St. Christian Church, or Ashtabula Regional Home Health Services.
