KEN B. PRICE

PORT ANGELES, WA -- Ken B. Price, age 90, of Port Angeles, WA, died Tuesday January 17, 2006, at Port Angeles Care Center.

Born May 31, 1915, in Bedford, PA, the son of George Lloyd Price and Ada Rebecca Beegle.

He married Adel Rosenberg on October 22, 1938, in Covington, Kentucky.

He graduated from Geneva High School, Class of 1934, and was in the USCG Active Duty 1942-1946, USCG Reserves 1946-1975, and Retired as Chief Petty Officer in 1975.

Mr. Price was a Lineman for Ohio Bell Telephone 1940-1947. In 1947 he transferred to Pacific Telephone & Telegraph in Port Angeles, WA where he retired in 1978.

Ken enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends and telling stories about all the buildings he wired for telephones, one being Olympic Memorial Hospital (now Olympic Medical Center) in Port Angeles, WA. He was a member of Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles, WA, and also the Masonic Lodge from 1945-2006 (Port Angeles, WA).

Survivors include his wife, Adel R. Price of Port Angeles, WA; sons, Ken W. Price of Port Angeles, WA, G. Brandon Price ( wife Jackie) of Port Angeles, WA, G. Mark Price (wife Debbie) of Belgrade, MT; daughter, Virginia Robison (husband Van Robison) of Ruskin, FL; brother, Carl Price of Crescent City, CA; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Kathryn Price.
